Role: Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Hours: Full-time, 35 per week

Location: Lake House, Port Solent


We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our HR team, reporting to the Managing Director. You'll bring both passion and professionalism to the role, and will be responsible for driving the firm's recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent to support our strategic objectives.

Role Responsibilities



As our Talent Acquisition Coordinator you will be responsible for delivering our mission of Great Service, Every Client, Every Time by delivering a seamless candidate experience, and strengthening our employer brand through proactive engagement initiatives. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing strategies, while collaborating with the HR Coordinator.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage the full end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising vacancies to issuing offers and completing pre-employment checks. Coordinate multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and candidate experience remains exceptional. Draft and maintain accurate job descriptions and person specifications in collaboration with managers. Build strong relationships with hiring managers and external recruitment agencies. Plan and deliver induction and onboarding programmes for new starters. Represent the firm at careers events and coordinate work experience placements. Support probation reviews and collaborate with the Learning & Development Manager on tailored training plans. Maintain recruitment data and generate reports using HR systems and applicant tracking tools. Contribute to employer branding initiatives and talent pipeline development. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and GDPR.

Job Requirements



Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in recruitment and a strong understanding of HR best practice. They will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to communicate in a friendly, professional, and confidential manner. The role will suit those with a positive and flexible approach and an ability to remain calm under pressure, particularly when managing multiple recruitment campaigns at the same time.

Whilst character is important to us, we do require a certain level of experience and qualification to succeed in this role. These are:

CIPD Level 3 (essential), CIPD Level 5 (desirable) 2+ years of HR experience in a comparable position Previous experience in the legal profession is advantageous
