, you'll play a key role in partnering with stakeholders to create and deliver end-to-end recruitment strategies to meet the current and future talent needs of our Engineering and Scientific functions. You'll build and develop strong internal relationships while promoting and enhancing our employer brand and providing a positive candidate experience. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager you'll be working alongside a great team of twelve Talent Acquisition experts who are passionate about supporting the business to deliver our mission, to lead the delivery of sustainable fusion energy.
You'll have the opportunity to:
Build strong relationships with our Engineering and Scientific Functions
to recruit high-quality candidates using your expertise throughout the recruitment process from talent attraction & engagement, assessment & selection through to offer management.
Talent mapping, identifying trends and analysing external competition
to identify, source and deliver highly skilled talent pipelines and provide competitor and candidate market insights.
Develop innovative sourcing strategies
to identify and attract both passive and active candidates using diverse recruitment channels to support current and future talent requirements.
Promote the UKAEA brand, values and mission
from attraction campaign activity through to assessment and selection and the offer management stage.
Drive and contribute to change initiatives
, continuously assessing and improving the talent acquisition infrastructure and processes to support the business strategy and vision.
Operationalise the talent acquisition strategy
and drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives engaging and collaborating with the HR Business Partners team and key stakeholders.
Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI)
as well as implementing best practice and offering advice at every stage of the recruitment process, promoting UKAEA as an inclusive employer.
Act as a subject matter expert and role model
to junior colleagues, sharing best practice and guidance on recruitment process, policy, technology and industry trends.
The salary for this role is
39,610
and will be based from our Culham site in Oxfordshire. This role requires employees to
complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
, including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
Demonstrable in-house recruitment experience, ideally recruiting for Engineering and Scientific functions.
In-depth understanding of recruitment best practices and legislation.
Proven experience of using direct sourcing methods across a variety of channels to deliver effective sourcing solutions aligned to business requirements.
Ability to manage ambiguity and the resilience to drive and manage change to achieve the desired results.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and advise key stakeholders and guide hiring decisions.
Strong organisational and problem-solving capability.
A proactive attitude to personal development, embracing new responsibilities and opportunities.
