Here at GXO Logistics we\'re looking for a Talent and Career Development Lead. You will be responsible for improving our internal talent pipelines and help embed our wider talent transformation program. By designing, building, maintaining and monitoring a suite of career management and talent pipeline development tools you will support \xe2\x80\x9cmy career\xe2\x80\x9d ownership for our colleagues.

Ideally, you\'ll live a commutable distance from either our Northampton or London office, however if you\'re happy to travel when required we\'d love to hear from you no matter your location! You\'ll work Monday - Friday, a rare find in logistics and we are able to offer hybrid working

Pay, benefits and more:

We\'re looking to offer a salary of up to \xc2\xa355,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you\'ll do on a typical day:

  • Build and maintain a range of career frameworks that enable colleagues to explore their career and access tools to help them grow
  • Create a suite of assessments, learning content and development tools to help colleagues establish development gaps and optimise their strengths
  • Analysing data using software such as excel, Power BI and Success Factors to determine talent trends and skills gaps
  • Keep up to date on industry-wide, regional and global trends relating to talent development and career management
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Previously worked in a leadership development, talent development or career management type role
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing competency models and skills-based career frameworks
  • A proven track record of using traditional authoring and development tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, publisher, graphics software, Page Tiger. Photo, audio and video editing skills using Adobe Creative Suite
