What you'll be doing...

Own and lead the N Academy, managing its strategic direction and operational excellence. Shape and evolve our full programme offer - including onboarding, induction, technical training, power skills, compliance learning and apprenticeships. Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing innovation, fresh thinking, and new technologies to the way we learn. Act as a key representative of The N Academy at regional, operational, and business-wide meetings. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align learning with broader People & Talent strategies. Design inclusive, scalable, and frustration-free learning experiences that meet current and future needs. Lead the design and rollout of high-impact, multi-modal training programmes for all roles across the business; Ensure all learning resources are easily accessible and well-communicated to teams. Continuously develop and enhance our LMS/LXP offering. Drive high-quality onboarding and induction programmes across the organisation. Deliver content personally and equip others (via train-the-trainer) to scale impact across the business. Line manage a small team - offering coaching, performance support, and development opportunities. Ensure compliance with DfE, Ofsted, and all relevant regulations - escalating issues as needed.


You should have...

Proven experience in a strategic L&D or Talent Development role. Strong track record of designing and delivering both technical and behavioural skills training. Knowledge of learning principles and instructional design best practices. Experience working with LMS/LXP and other digital learning tools. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills. Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site business. Experience in the early years or a regulated sector would be an advantage.
