The People Experience team is on a mission to make Sano the place where people do the best work of their lives. With Series B on the horizon and exciting growth planned for 2026, we're looking for an experienced Talent Partner to join us on a 12-month maternity cover.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You'll be our dedicated Talent person -- leading the full hiring process end-to-end and making sure we continue to attract, select, and hire the brilliant people we need to scale.

We're after someone who enjoys being a true generalist -- just as happy hiring commercial leaders as you are digging into technical or scientific roles. You'll know how to quickly understand what's needed, ask the right questions to get clarity, and guide hiring managers with confidence.

Headlines:

Role

- Talent Partner (12 month FTC)

Start date:

Ideally by December 2025 (to allow full handover)

Salary

- up to 60,000 pa

Location

- UK (remote only)

How you'll make an impact:

Bring in exceptional talent across all parts of Sano -- from commercial to scientific, technical, and operational roles -- including senior hires. Keep our hiring engine running smoothly during a critical growth phase, owning processes end-to-end and continuously improving how we hire. Partner with hiring managers and leaders to create clarity, alignment, and momentum. Make sure every candidate has a great experience with us (even if they don't get the job). Use data and insights to spot risks, shape hiring strategy, and keep leadership in the loop. Coach and support hiring managers on best practice, levelling, and interview design. Help us show up as a brilliant place to work by strengthening our employer brand.

This job is for you if you:

Have proven experience as a Talent Partner / Recruiter in scaling companies. Are happy to roll up your sleeves and manage hiring end-to-end across all levels, from junior to senior leadership. Have strong experience hiring senior commercial roles in complex disciplines. Can quickly get to grips with tricky requirements, ask the tough questions, and thrive in the grey. Communicate with impact -- you know how to build trust, influence leaders, and flex your style depending on the audience. Balance pace and quality, with a track record of delivering hires while keeping candidate and stakeholder experience high. Use data and insights to guide conversations and decisions.
Enjoy the pace (and occasional chaos) of start-upscale-up environments.

Even better if you have:

Have recruited in Life Sciences or helped a company through a Series B growth stage. Have experience hiring across geographies, especially the US. You're fluent in our tech stack (Teamtailor, Notion and HiBob).

This role is unlikely to be a great match if:

You prefer a highly structured, corporate environment. You'd rather stick to one discipline than switch between commercial, technical, and scientific roles. You're not comfortable challenging assumptions or asking "why?".
Research shows that some people are less likely to apply for a role unless they are 100% qualified. Your experience, skills and passion will set you apart so tell us about your achievements, irrespective of whether they are personal or work-related, tell us about your journey, and about what you learnt.

So, if this role excites you, don't let our role description hold you back, get applying!
