We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Work permit can be offered. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient teamwork and high standards of food preparation
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to health and safety regulations
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing
Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
Serve dishes to guests when required, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
Skills
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment with strong culinary skills
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Skilled in food preparation, cooking, and presentation across a variety of cuisines
Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
Experience in restaurant operations, including managing inventories and ordering supplies
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service
Previous hospitality experience is highly desirable.
