Tanker Driver
Job Description
Event Hire Solutions are currently seeking a Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Driver/operative to join our existing team. Operating from our Greendale Business Park Depot, Woodbury Salterton, Exeter Depot. The successful applicant will hold a full, clean UK Category C & E driving license, Digital Tachograph card and valid CPC. Experience in vacuum tanker operation and live loads is essential. Some mechanical knowledge and a valid forklift license is also desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Day to day emptying of Effluent Tanks/ septic tanks (Class 2)
Occasional yard assistance, including washing portaloos, repairs and loading/unloading vehicles with forklift.
Completing vehicle checks in line with VOSA requirements.
Event work in Summer Season including attending and effluent empties.
Carrying out works in accordance with the company's health and safety policies and procedures.
General assistance as and when required.
The role is full-time and may include some weekend work as required.
