The Tanning Company is a friendly, professional tanning salon dedicated to providing our customers with a clean, welcoming, and relaxing experience. We're looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team and help us deliver excellent customer service while keeping the salon running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
:
Customer Service - Greet clients warmly, check them in, answer queries, and provide guidance on tanning services and products.
Salon Operations - Operate the salon independently, including closing the shop securely.
Cleaning & Hygiene - Maintain high standards of cleanliness by sanitising tanning beds, equipment, and customer areas after each use.
Sales & Upselling - Promote and sell tanning packages, lotions, and retail products.
Cash Handling - Process payments accurately.
Health & Safety - Follow all tanning regulations and ensure customer safety at all times.
Desired Attributes
Friendly, approachable, and professional with excellent communication skills.
Responsible and trustworthy, able to manage the shop independently.
Reliable with good time management and organisational skills.
Attention to detail, especially when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene.
Comfortable with basic computer and till operations.
Previous retail, customer service, or salon experience is a bonus but not essential (training will be provided)
