Job Description

We are looking for a tarmac/asphalt tipper driver class 2 for a contract 8/9 weeks starting Monday 9th September.

Job is for night time starting 6pm/8pm till when finish, if more then 10h, extra will be paid.

Trucks are parked in Chelmsford.

Need experienced tipper drivers as no training can be given.

Orange full ppe is required.

Duties

Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Load and unload , ensuring it is secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and operational procedures.

Experience

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, preferably with flatbed experience. Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for performing basic vehicle maintenance. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
