Skins and Needles, a dynamic and innovative tattoo studio, is seeking a talented Tattoo Artist to join our team for our new shop opening. As a Tattoo Artist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tattoo services while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and customer service. Your duties will include managing bookings, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, supervising junior artists, and handling financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

- Perform high-quality tattoo services according to client specifications and artistic vision.

- Manage client bookings and consultations, providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.

- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment, adhering to strict hygiene protocols and health regulations.

- Supervise and mentor junior tattoo artists, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and equipment to continuously improve skills and deliver innovative tattoo designs.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques.

- Excellent artistic skills and creativity, with the ability to translate client ideas into unique and visually stunning tattoo designs.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to tattooing, including proper sterilisation techniques and infection control protocols.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritise tasks effectively.

- Leadership abilities to supervise and mentor junior artists.

- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
