We are seeking a Taught Programmes Manager to provide maternity cover in the School of Art and Design. This pivotal role is a senior Learning and Teaching administrative position, responsible for overseeing the delivery and coordination of undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes. You will lead and support the school's Learning and Teaching administrative team, ensuring high-quality processes, excellent student experience, and effective academic support across all taught provision.



You will lead the way by:

Overseeing the delivery and development of high-quality administrative support for undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes, ensuring consistency and excellence across the school. Anticipating and responding to emerging challenges in Learning and Teaching, improving processes and driving innovation that enhances the student and staff experience. Managing the administration of the school's interdisciplinary modules and elective choices, ensuring students are supported to navigate complex options smoothly and that programmes run effectively. Working closely with academic leaders and professional services colleagues to align administrative systems with the school's strategic goals, providing insights and solutions that have impact.

What you'll bring




You will bring experience within Higher Education and a strong understanding of academic processes, enabling you to coordinate learning and teaching administration with confidence and clarity. With an ability to influence outcomes and build effective relationships, you will be resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, student-focused environment. Alongside this, you will have excellent digital and data management skills, with the ability to oversee complex systems that ensure programmes run smoothly and support a high-quality student experience.


You will also have:

A degree or relevant experience Knowledge and understanding of Higher Education academic processes, regulations, and quality assurance procedures Excellent project management skills Relevant experience in the Higher Education sector
