Tax Accountant - In house - VAT Compliance Focus
We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated Assistant Tax Manager to join the Taxation team.
This is an exciting new role, with an emphasis VAT issues but also has exposure to other taxes as part of the role eg Corp Tax returns and Global Mobility issues thus giving the right individual the opportunity to expand their VAT and taxation knowledge and experience.
Reporting to a Head of Tax the team is responsible for all tax matters at the Group and its subsidiary and associated companies, in the UK and overseas working closely with other Finance, Professional Services colleagues to advise on a range of taxation issues.
It will be an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax accountant with a few years experience in tax who has worked in a large organisation especially if you are willing to tackle new challenges and learn new Tax skills
Ideally you will have
- Tax knowledge and experience of working within an in-house Finance team or Professional Services firm
- Professional tax or accounting qualification, or currently studying towards a professional tax or accounting qualification (support with continuing studies can be provided)
