Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our finance team at Evolution Security. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws, preparing and filing tax returns, and advising the organization on tax-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of corporate tax issues and will be adept at managing tax planning and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns for various entities within the organization. Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws, staying up-to-date with any changes. Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning efforts and ensure the company is taking advantage of all relevant tax benefits. Work closely with external tax advisors and auditors as needed. Provide tax advice and guidance to internal departments. Assist in the preparation of the company's annual financial statements and tax provisions. Maintain and organize documentation for all tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with internal controls. Support tax audits and inquiries by collecting necessary documentation and supporting information. Monitor and report on tax deadlines to ensure timely filings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (CPA, EA) is preferred. Proven experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar tax-related role. Strong understanding of tax regulations and laws. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in accounting software and tax preparation software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
