About the Role



Our fast-paced scaling Software as a Service client is searching for a

Tax Accountant

to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will support the

Tax Manager

with day-to-day tax and financial activities across multiple corporate entities worldwide.

You'll play a vital part in ensuring the organisation meets its tax obligations while developing your expertise in both UK and international tax.




Key Responsibilities



Prepare UK and overseas tax returns (VAT, OSS VAT, GST/HST, SST, sales tax). Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations for direct/indirect tax liabilities. Prepare monthly tax journals and cashflow reports. Support with tax filings, payments, and reconciliations. Maintain indirect tax files and oversee submissions using tax software tools. Assist with PSA, STBV, R&D claims, and Transfer Pricing documentation. Ensure timely preparation and submission of returns, certifications, and reports. Liaise with HMRC and overseas tax authorities during audits. Provide support for both internal and external audit processes. Contribute to building team capability and mentoring future team members.

Essential:



Proven experience as a Tax Accountant (or similar tax-related role). Strong knowledge of direct/indirect taxes. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite or similar). Understanding of tax compliance software.

Desirable:



Experience in a fast-growth, tech-driven environment. * Finance/Tax qualification or degree in accounting.
