Personal Tax Manager

to support and eventually lead our busy Personal Tax Department.

The Role:

You will be working directly alongside the Head of Personal Tax, supporting them in the day-to-day management of the team and client portfolio, with a clear progression path to take full ownership of the department.

The Personal Tax Department currently consists of

3 team members

, preparing over

900 Self Assessment tax returns per year

. We are seeking a candidate who can bring strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for client service to continue driving the department forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the management and delivery of the personal tax compliance process Review and oversee the preparation of Self Assessment tax returns Advise on a range of personal tax matters including capital gains tax, residency issues, and HMRC correspondence Support and mentor junior members of the team Implement improvements to systems and processes within the department Liaise directly with clients, ensuring deadlines and expectations are consistently met Contribute to the strategic development of the Personal Tax Department

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 4 years' experience

in UK personal tax

Qualified accountant

(ACCA / ACA / ATT / CTA preferred) Prior

management or supervisory experience

Excellent communication and organisational skills A strong understanding of personal tax compliance and advisory matters Proactive mindset with the ambition to lead and grow a department
