-Key Responsibilities
Support the Tax Manager, Corporate & Downstream to create a working environment that fosters psychological safety and enables team members to thrive, individually and collectively, consistent with the Leadership Framework.
Effectively lead the De Beers Corporate team with responsibility for professional growth and progression of two direct reports.
Support the effective implementation of appropriate frameworks required to ensure that Group Tax KPIs are understood and able to be delivered in their countries or responsibility.
Support the effective implementation of the Tax Governance Framework, enabling the identification and management of tax risks and the development of solutions and actions as required to protect value for the Group.
Empower teams to identify, develop and deploy global and local tax projects and initiatives that responsibly add to or protect shareholder value.
Support the response to external developments in areas of tax policy.
