Role Summary


This role requires a skilled tax professional with a broad understanding of tax advisory concepts and planning. Experience in Private Client is preferred, but understanding across the spectrum is desirable. The individual will be responsible for managing complex tax projects including oversight of all elements from engagement through to completion, and ensuring an excellent client service. The role demands strong project management skills, including the ability to work independently, delegate tasks effectively, and utilize business systems proficiently. As the primary point of contact for clients, the professional must communicate effectively with all stakeholders, coordinate with associated advisers, and promote collaborative working within the team. Commercial awareness is crucial, with the individual expected to contribute to monthly targets, identify additional tax planning opportunities, and suggest improvements to tools and processes.

Key Accountabilities


Responsible for the delivery of tax advisory projects with a project delivery plan and is the first point of contact for clients on their projects and takes ownership of project delivery.
Can support Directors in new client conversations and winning new work often taking ownership of communication and delivery of proposals and illustrations to demonstrate the value of tax advice to potential clients.
Can prepare detailed technical notes and carry out specific research as required to support tax advice or the structuring of new advisory solutions for clients.
Able to effectively delegate tasks to junior members to manage workload and support delivery of projects.
Carrying out analysis and calculations of tax liabilities and financial data and presenting this in a clear format for interpretation and use within the advisory project.
Leads project team discussions and contributes to the identification of tax solutions for our clients.
Able to maintain delivery of projects against agreed objectives and take proactive steps to achieve those objectives.
Engage in continuous learning and development to stay updated with the latest tax laws and practices.
A role model for junior members demonstrating appropriate professional behaviour and able to support the development of their technical and professional skills.

Skills & Experience


Experience:



At least 3 - 5 years of personal tax advisory experience.

Demonstrated experience in a tax practice environment.

Technical Skills:



Advanced knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and tax implications.

Critical thinking to evaluate different tax scenarios and develop innovative solutions.

Excellent communication skills to explain intricate tax concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Project management skills to oversee tax-related initiatives and ensure timely completion.

Ability to stay updated with changes in tax legislation and compliance requirements.

Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Qualifications


ATT qualified, but CTA qualification is preferrable.

Other relevant qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, STEP, ADIT are acceptable, but advanced knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations that would apply to private clients would need to be demonstrated.

Pay: 40,000.00-65,000.00 per year
