What You'll DoLead the prompt and precise compilation and submission of direct and indirect tax reports in various EMEA regions, collaborating closely with local finance teams and external consultants.
Coordinate tax compliance procedures, such as data collection, reviewing returns, and assisting with audits, to guarantee compliance with local tax regulations and internal guidelines.
Support the preparation of tax provisions for EMEA entities in accordance with local GAAP and/or IFRS, ensuring alignment with global reporting timelines and standards.
Assist with operational tax matters such as withholding taxes, VAT/GST compliance, tax registrations, and tax audits or inquiries from local tax authorities.
Collaborate with global tax and finance teams to implement guidelines and drive consistency and efficiency across tax processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax compliance calendars and documentation, ensuring robust control and risk management.
Find opportunities for automation and process improvement within the compliance and provisioning cycles.
Serve as a contact for internal collaborators and external advisors regarding EMEA tax compliance topics.
What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in tax compliance, ideally within a multinational organization or Big Four/public accounting environment.
Professional qualification in Tax, Accounting, or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA) preferred.
Proficient understanding of EMEA direct and indirect tax regulations, reporting requirements, and tax accounting norms.
Experience with tax provisioning processes and tools (e.g., OneSource Tax Provision, Oracle, SAP) is an advantage.
Experience with tax adherence in the technology, SaaS, or software development sectors is greatly preferred.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Capability to handle various collaborators and function efficiently across borders and time zones.
Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
