Tax Manager

Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Tax Manager to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 6 months. This role can be either fully remote or hybrid working in either Burgess Hill or Welwyn Garden City.
Salary:
500 - 600 pd PAYE or 663.19 - 795.82 via Umbrella
Tax Manager Role:
- Partner with the UK&I Tax Director to provide expert tax guidance and strategic support
- Oversee the integrity of the tax control framework and procedures
- Manage and ensure adherence to Group transfer pricing methodologies and implement Group tax strategies
- Support the Tax Director in maintaining the relationship with UK/Irish Tax Authorities
- Oversee tax-related processes for group and statutory accounts reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Hold a relevant financial qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CTA
- Extensive tax experience gained within a multinational organization
- Experience in Transfer Pricing, UK R&D Tax Credits, and/or Irish taxes is highly advantageous.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to articulate complex tax concepts clearly and concisely to non-tax stakeholders and senior leadership
