Tax Specialist – Europe Operations

Job Description

We are partnering with a leading multinational telecom & technology group on an exclusive and confidential search for a Tax Specialist to support their expanding Europe operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-growing international environment, collaborating across multiple regions and providing high-impact tax support for new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tax Risk Management



Assess and monitor tax risks for ongoing and new projects.

Provide tax advisory support to internal business units across various regions.

Support tax number applications for new operating areas.

Evaluate tax risks related to new POP sites and newly established entities.

2. Transfer Pricing Setup & Management



Assist in designing and maintaining global transfer pricing frameworks.

Support internal invoice issuance.

Prepare CbCR (Country-by-Country Reporting).

Maintain transfer pricing documentation across multiple jurisdictions.

3. Tax Compliance for Branch Operations



Coordinate with external tax agents to complete monthly/quarterly VAT submissions.

Handle annual statutory reporting for branch entities.

Support VAT account reconciliation and relevant filings.

4. Global Tax Planning



Assist in global tax optimisation initiatives and tax efficiency strategies.

5. Accounting Documentation Management



Maintain and organise accounting records, document borrowings and returns, and support proper archiving or disposal of files.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in finance or tax.

Familiarity with tax regulations in multiple countries.

Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent are highly preferred.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross-border teams.
