What is Capital Allowances?
Capital allowances are a valuable tax relief for property expenditure. As part of our specialist Tax Advisory team, we help clients maximise their claims by analysing costs, identifying qualifying assets, and preparing detailed reports for HMRC.

Your role in the Capital Allowances team
Analyse property costs to determine the correct tax treatment.
Assist with the preparation of reports for submission to clients and HMRC.
Support senior colleagues on surveys of client premises to assess qualifying assets.
Help prepare client proposals and supporting documentation.
Develop a detailed understanding of capital allowances legislation and its interaction with broader tax positions.

Your Training & Support
You'll receive structured training in tax and accounting fundamentals, alongside specialist capital allowances knowledge. From day one, you'll be supported by experienced mentors and work on real client projects.
You'll also build your skills in data analysis, reporting, and client communication, with access to digital tools and guidance from our tax technology experts.
Qualifications
You'll be part of our AAT/CTA pathway, starting with the AAT qualification and progressing to CTA - a leading tax qualification for those specialising in advisory and technical areas.
