We are seeking a professional and reliable Taxi Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role involves navigating urban and suburban areas, ensuring passengers reach their destinations promptly and comfortably. Responsibilities



Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the city and surrounding areas. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including handling luggage or heavy items when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, including regular checks on tyres, oil, and other essential components. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes or local points of interest when required. Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and vehicle maintenance schedules. Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to the management team.

Requirements



Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is preferred. Proven experience as a driver, preferably with delivery or taxi driving background. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with luggage or cargo. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan efficient routes. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required. Must be physically fit to handle long hours on the road and assist passengers as needed. Must be over 30 for insurance purposes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 25,000.00-35,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 32 - 48 per week
