Taxi Driver (Day Shift) - Gem Cabs Ltd

Location: South Ayrshire (based in/around Ayr area)

We are a growing taxi company proudly serving South Ayrshire, providing reliable transport for local journeys, school contracts, airport transfers, and distance journeys.

We are currently looking for a reliable, customer-focused Taxi Driver to join us on a day shift basis.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday - Day shift (typically early morning to early evening hours - exact times flexible to suit business needs)

Key Requirements:

Must be over 25 years old (due to insurance policy requirements) Full UK driving licence held (clean or near-clean record preferred) Valid South Ayrshire Taxi Driver Badge (or willingness and eligibility to obtain one quickly) Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner Good local knowledge of South Ayrshire (Ayr, Prestwick, Troon, Maybole, Girvan etc.) - or ability to learn quickly Reliable, punctual and able to work independently Own smartphone(for navigation & bookings app)
