Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers while maintaining a high level of customer service. As a Taxi Driver, you will navigate various routes, ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, and communicate effectively with passengers.

Duties

Drive passengers to their desired destinations safely and efficiently. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the taxi vehicle. Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or personal items as needed. Communicate clearly with passengers regarding routes, estimated arrival times, and any potential delays. Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure passenger safety. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and fare collection. Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.

Skills

Proficient in driving with a valid driving licence; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and provide excellent customer service. Strong navigational skills to efficiently drive through urban areas and avoid traffic congestion. Experience as a van driver or delivery driver is advantageous but not essential. Capable of performing heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings. Strong organisational skills to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 25,000.00-45,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 50 per week
