Responsibilities

Safely operate the taxi vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies. Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations, ensuring punctuality. Assist passengers with boarding, alighting, and luggage handling, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation. Communicate effectively with passengers to confirm destinations and provide local information if required. Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and mileage as per company requirements. Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure passenger safety and security. Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to the management team for resolution.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; previous experience as a commercial or delivery driver is advantageous. Proven experience in driving, preferably within a taxi or similar service environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with luggage or mobility aids. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers. Knowledge of local routes, traffic regulations, and safety standards. Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify minor issues and ensure vehicle safety. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple trips efficiently.
