Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to our passengers. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting clients safely and efficiently while ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience.

Duties

Safely operate a taxi vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs, including heavy lifting of luggage when required. Maintain the vehicle in good condition through regular checks and basic maintenance tasks. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or local knowledge to reach destinations promptly. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, fares, and local attractions. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger details as required by company policies. Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle both inside and out.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a commercial driver is preferred. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers and address any concerns. Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle as needed. Capability for heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings. A good understanding of local roads and traffic patterns is beneficial for efficient navigation.
