We're seeking a
T&D Test Supervisor
to support the operational excellence of our Test & Development department. Reporting to the T&D Test Manager you'll lead the daily workshop function, oversee the safe operation and build of test rigs, and ensure the effective use of resources across the team. This is a hands-on leadership role, central to maintaining our testing capability and ensuring continuous improvement across people, process, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily T&D workshop operations, ensuring the safe and efficient running of all test rigs.
Lead the build, commissioning, and maintenance of new and existing test rigs and test equipment.
Coordinate test schedules with the T&D Test Manager, managing workloads and resources effectively.
Support testing and build activities directly where required to meet operational demands.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
Take a proactive lead in Health & Safety, contributing to RAMS and SSOWs, and upholding IOSH-level safety standards.
Collaborate closely with Production, Car Build, and NDT to manage component movements and maintain workflow visibility.
Support process improvements and maintain compliance with ISO9001 and internal quality standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Apprenticeship-level qualification or equivalent in a mechanical or engineering discipline.
Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within F1, motorsport, or the automotive sector.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage effectively.
IOSH qualification (or equivalent) and a strong understanding of Health & Safety principles.
Demonstrable experience with ISO9001 quality systems and process compliance.
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
Creative and flexible mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Reliable, self-motivated, and passionate about engineering precision and high-performance teamwork.
