At Engleburn we have over 30 years' experience enriching our clients lives. We are always expanding our team and welcome others who bring new knowledge and ideas to the home, in an ever changing environment.

Through the lock down period we have built and opened a small tearooms on site to enable the residents in the home to have somewhere safe to have their family and friends visit.

The tea rooms is used through the day between 8.30am and 4.30pm and serves snacks, cakes and drinks and light bites

The staff from our care home also use the facility for lunches, snacks and drinks.

Purpose of position



Main aim of the position is to Co-ordinate with the care home staff and residents significant others to enrich the lives of the clients in the home.

To provide a safe and healthy environment for consumption of food and drinks.

To produce light the Light bite menu options (basic cooking skills)

To produce Basic cakes/scones/light baking options

To produce good quality food and drinks in a friendly environment

Manage the day to day running of the Tea Rooms

Supervision of the staff, assist with staff Training

Must be able to assist in the control of Food hygiene requirements and have some knowledge of food safety

Understand and complete the Safer Food Better Business logs

Communicate with senior Managers about any problems during shifts

Ensure service standards are maintained

Ensure standard checklists and Audits are used and checked

Be able to handle all positive and negative customer feedback, deal with customer complaints

Ensure company and legal standards for cleanliness are maintained

Ensure team are punctual, polite and helpful to customers and colleagues at all times

Ensure that all food supplies and other essentials are adequately stocked

Ensure all deliveries are correct and recorded

Upsell Food and beverages

know Menu prices and ingredients of food and drink menu items

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
