This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Alternative Provision, supporting young people who may have experienced barriers to education, including children in care. You'll help them rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning, and realise their potential.
You'll deliver a range of subjects, including Maths, English, PSHE, and Project-Based Learning, while also leading on safeguarding and behaviour management across the provision. You'll play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for both pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across multiple subject
Lead on safeguarding and behaviour management, ensuring best practice and compliance with policies
Promote a trauma-informed approach that prioritises safety, relationships, and emotional regulation
Build trusting relationships with pupils, supporting their personal and academic development
Work closely with colleagues, carers, and external agencies to deliver joined-up support
Maintain accurate records, including attendance, safeguarding, and progress
Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the provision
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
A Qualified teacher (QTS)
Passionate about alternative education and supporting young people with complex needs
Trauma-informed and able to use this understanding in daily practice
Experienced in teaching across subjects such as Maths, English, PSHE, and Project- Based Learning
Knowledgeable and confident in managing safeguarding processes and positive behaviour strategies
Flexible, reflective, and committed to continual improvement
Empathetic, resilient, and able to inspire trust and respect
