Academy 360, part of Laidlaw Schools Trust, is seeking an ambitious and passionate

Subject Leader for Physical Education

to lead the strategic development of PE across the academy. This is an exciting opportunity to drive student achievement, shape an inclusive and engaging curriculum, and work within a values-led Trust that places students at the heart of all we do.

Start date January 2026 or sooner.



Salary L1 - L4



You will play a key role in leading high standards across the PE department, developing curriculum plans, monitoring student outcomes, and supporting a team of dedicated practitioners. You'll also contribute to the wider life of the academy, supporting student wellbeing, development and enrichment through sport and physical activity.

We are seeking an experienced, driven and inspiring leader who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree Has a proven record of high-quality teaching and student progress Is committed to continuous improvement and inclusive practice Possesses excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills Demonstrates ambition, resilience, and good leadership
