We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic
Childcare Assistant / Supervisor
to join our team at a school nearStalbridge, Dorset
. This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children, creating a safe and engaging environment where they can play, learn, and grow.The position runs
Monday to Friday, 3:15pm - 5:30pm
(after-school club, 1.5 hours per day).Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage a small group of children in a safe, nurturing after-school setting. Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities that support physical, social, and emotional development. Maintain clear communication with parents regarding children's progress and wellbeing. Keep the childcare area, toys, and equipment clean, safe, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Previous experience working with children in a childcare, nursery, or school setting. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong English communication skills for working with children, parents, and colleagues. Leadership or management experience is a bonus but not essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.5 per week
Work Location: In person
