Position Overview
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic
Childcare Provider
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and skilled at creating a safe, stimulating, and educational environment. This role involves looking after children of different ages, supporting their wellbeing, and encouraging their growth through play and structured activities.Hours & Location
Monday - Friday
3:15pm - 5:30pm
School near Stalbridge, Dorset
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and interact with a small group of children in a safe, nurturing after-school setting. Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities that support physical, social, and emotional development. Maintain clear communication with parents about their child's progress and any concerns. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the childcare space, including toys and equipment.
Experience & Skills
Proven experience in childcare, nursery, or a similar setting is essential. Background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong English communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Leadership or management experience is beneficial but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.5 per week
Work Location: In person
