Teacher - Part Time
Start date: November 2025, or later for the right candidate
Term: Part Time, 3 or 4 days per week to include Monday and Friday.
Contract type: Fixed for one year, may be extended.
Salary: 32,000 to 40,000 Full Time Equivalent depending on experience

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative qualified teacher to join our team from November 2025, or later for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who thrives off building meaningful relationships with young people and someone who is looking for a job role that truly is rewarding and satisfying where you will genuinely make a difference to the lives of young people.
As a qualified teacher you will be able to utilise your skill set away from whiteboards, exercise books and the four walls of a traditional classroom and instead have time and space to share your knowledge in a practical, outdoor environment that welcomes flexibility and fun. Everything we do at Corfe Valley is built on building solid, strong and meaningful relationships with our young people, helping them to have a sense of belonging and to have self-belief to achieve. This job role will ensure you have the time to truly build these vital relationships with our young people, foster their curiosity and build their confidence through hands-on experiences. Duties:
to build meaningful relationships with children with SEN and SEMH needs
to adapt and utilise your teaching experience to create and lead a diverse range of fun and engaging activities
to help to look after the onsite animals
to contribute to children's portfolios using written and photographic evidence
to ensure the safeguarding of our young people
to be able to tailor your knowledge of the National Curriculum to meet the needs and learning styles of our young people
We are looking for an applicant who can really relate to and engage groups of young people. Most of all, we are looking for someone who is patient, kind and non-judgemental with a real willingness to support, motivate and listen to our group of young people.
