Nyewood CE Infant School is an inclusive and popular school with a positive and caring Christian ethos. The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative class teacher with a sound understanding of the developmental needs of young children in KS1 who will share in the continued development our ambitious Church of England School.
This is a full-time, temporary post due to maternity leave secondment cover. Subject to satisfactory service, your employment will cease upon the return of the substantive post holder. The post would start 1st January 2026 and would be initially to cover a mixed Year 1/2 class which could be subject to change. This post could be suitable for an ECT or an experienced class teacher, therefore both MPS and UPS job descriptions are available to refer to.
