We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, dedicated class teacher to lead the learning in one of our new SEND units at Stanton Primary School. You will be responsible for leading a team of support staff in the delivery of high-quality communication and interaction provision for children with complex learning needs, (primarily autism) and other co-existing conditions, including sensory needs, toileting (intimate care) and medical needs.
You will work closely with mainstream colleagues and will play a full and active role within the school itself. High quality CPD will be available to support you in this role. As well as working closely with staff members at the Eastern Education Group Trust, you will work closely with external agencies and stakeholders, e.g. Speech and Language Therapy Services, Special Education Services, Occupation Therapy Services etc.
As part of this role, you will be expected to support the SENCo in completing paperwork, preparing for and attending annual reviews and liaising with parents.
