West Sussex Alternative Provision College (WSAPC) is an educational establishment based across the county on seven separate sites, providing education for pupils whom are permanently excluded, at risk of exclusion or too ill to attend school. Our ethos is to provide FOCUS (Future, Opportunities:, Curriculum, Us, School) for our pupils to re-engage them in their learning and support re-integration to mainstream provision.
What we are looking for:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly effective teacher to play a key role in the delivery of our English Curriculum for Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have an important role in delivering high quality lessons, increasing the opportunities for a broad and balanced curriculum.
This would be an ideal role for someone who is passionate about providing outstanding provision for children who may present with challenging behaviour, and who understands complex needs and some experience in social and emotional health difficulties.

Experience of effectively risk assessing activities
What You Need to Succeed
You will have:
QTS/QTLS
First Degree or Certificate of Education
Substantial and relevant experience with Special Educational Needs, preferably SEMH
Relevant and recent professional development conducive to the post
Experience of contributing to successful Ofsted outcomes
