Ortus Education Ltd are the proprietors of West Raynham School, which is an SEMH day school for young people aged 5 -17 who have a range of diagnoses, challenging behaviours and complex needs. We are looking to appoint high calibre teachers, who will be committed to supporting the delivery of education for pupils with complex needs.
Reporting to the Deputy Head for Teaching and Learning, you will ensure all children at the school receive the best possible standard of education; achieving their full potential across the breadth of the curriculum and school opportunities.
We are looking for Teachers who can:
Raise standards in achievement through excellence in Teaching & Learning
Have high expectations and aspirations for pupils with SEMH and complex needs
Effectively support pupils with their learning and their behaviour
Ensure that pupils are fully supported to engage in the creative curriculum within and beyond the classroom, by effectively deploying academic and pastoral mentors
Raise standards and outcomes through participation in development and training
Work with the Deputy Head (T&L) to ensure each pupil realises their potential
Monitor pupil progress to ensure successful outcomes
Share their ideas and expertise with others to further improve the school's offer
