Take responsibility for all learning that takes place in your nursery
Role Brief
You are responsible for overseeing the delivery of excellent care and education to the children in your nursery
You are responsible for the continuity of provision in your nursery
You are expected to hold yourself to the highest professional standard and be a good role model for children and staff
You must manage your time effectively, so all deadlines are met
You will maintain effective, professional channels of communication with our team, parents and outside agencies where appropriate
You promote the high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff and visitors.
You must ensure you help to create an excellent working environment for all team members
You must be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, good practice, nursery policies and procedures
You are responsible for all administrative duties associated with being a Nursery Teacher
You must not 'walk past' practice you wish to highlight/question. For better or worse, do not leave it unsaid and raise concerns to your manager or give praise to your colleague(s)
You must have a clean and up to date DBS certificate
