About the Role

As a Health Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering L1-L3 courses and supporting the wellbeing and personal development of learners. You will design and deliver engaging lessons that cover a wide range of health-related topics, such as nutrition, mental health, personal safety, relationships, and healthy lifestyle choices.


The role involves not only teaching knowledge but also inspiring positive habits, resilience, and self-awareness in students. You'll work closely with colleagues across the school/college to ensure health education is integrated into the wider curriculum and supports the safeguarding and wellbeing agenda.

What You Will Do



Develop and deliver high-quality lessons in health education (e.g. nutrition, physical wellbeing, Anatomy and Physiology , substance awareness, lifestyle choices). Use a range of teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and styles. Integrate safeguarding, personal development, and inclusivity into curriculum delivery. Encourage positive behaviour and attitudes towards health and wellbeing. Monitor, assess, and record student progress Provide feedback that supports student development and achievement. Prepare students for internal and/or external assessments as required.

About You
Teaching qualification Degree or relevant qualification in Health Education, Public Health, Nursing, Biology, Physical Education, or related field. Experience teaching or training in health-related subjects. Strong understanding of adolescent development, safeguarding, and wellbeing
