The IT Teacher/Trainer will be responsible for delivering a range of IT and computing programmes, including Digital Marketing, Networking, and Office Software, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning in line with awarding body requirements. The role supports learners in gaining both technical knowledge and practical employability skills relevant to the digital and technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
? Deliver IT and Computing courses including Digital Marketing, Networking, and Office Software programmes
? Develop and maintain teaching resources, lesson plans, and practical exercises to support learner engagement
? Assess learners' progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records
? Support learners with professional development, career guidance, and employability skills in the IT sector
? Ensure compliance with awarding body requirements and quality assurance standards
? Stay up to date with emerging technologies, digital tools, and teaching methodologies
? Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of IT programmes
? Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective programme delivery and student achievement
Skills and Qualifications Required:
? Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related subject
? Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
? Practical IT or industry experience in areas such as networking, digital marketing, or systems support
? At least 2 years' experience in teaching, training, or delivering IT-related programmes
? Strong communication, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills
Position in Hierarchy:
Reports directly to the Head of Centre (Principal)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 31,000.00-34,500.00 per year
