Job Description

We are a family based in Morley (LS27, Leeds) seeking a qualified Early Years teacher/tutor to provide evening learning support for two children (aged 5 and 3). The role involves creating fun, engaging, play-based sessions that also focus on key Early Years learning skills -- particularly English, phonics, and school-readiness. This is a great opportunity for a nursery practitioner, Reception teacher, KS1 teacher, or experienced teaching assistant who is looking for additional work outside of normal school hours. Responsibilities: Deliver 3 evening sessions per week (1-2 hours each) at our home in LS27 Create enjoyable, structured learning activities for a 3- and 5-year-old Focus on developing early literacy, phonics, and foundational learning Provide feedback and guidance on children's progress Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment Requirements: Experience in Early Years / EYFS / KS1 (essential) Relevant qualification (Level 3 childcare, QTS/PGCE, or equivalent) Current enhanced DBS check (essential) Strong communication skills and ability to engage young children Must be local to Morley/Leeds and able to travel to LS27 (this is not an online role) Hours & Pay: 3 evenings per week (flexible days by agreement) 1-2 hours per session Pay: 20-45 per hour depending on qualifications and experience How to Apply: Please apply with a short CV or summary of your experience.
