We are looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant field - a Physics specialism could be an advantage; Understanding of the strategies required to motivate learners and to inspire their curiosity in Science; Ability to teach Science across the ability and age range; A proven track record as an excellent classroom practitioner; The ability to plan and teach lessons that provide a rich, enjoyable and challenging learning experience for students and to assess their progress; The talent, interpersonal skills and range of teaching & classroom behaviour management skills necessary to contribute to the success of the staff team; Commitment to the School's Health & Safety Policy, Safeguarding and Welfare of all students, and willingness to undertake Departmental Induction Programme; The enthusiasm to develop this subject and the vision to extend the work already undertaken; The commitment to care for everyone in our School; Supportive of the school's excellent staff attendance and punctuality record, which in turn supports student attainment; A values-driven practitioner who is supportive of the Christian ethos of our school.
