The Role

• The successful Teacher of Art will teach a full timetable, covering Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level Fine Art).
• The Teacher of Art is responsible for maintaining the high standards of practical and theoretical instruction within the department.
• The school expects the Teacher of Art to assist in preparing students for portfolios and university applications.
• This full-time maternity position requires an immediate start for the Teacher of Art.
• The successful Teacher of Art will also contribute to the regular displays and exhibitions held by the school.
• We require a highly skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Art to cover this period.
• The Art department is eager to secure a dedicated Teacher of Art as soon as possible.
• Candidates must be ready to assume the full responsibilities of a Teacher of Art.

Requirements

• A degree in Fine Art, Art History, or a related creative discipline.
• Proven ability to teach Art and Design to A-Level.
• Experience with portfolio preparation and different media is essential.
• Immediate availability to start or a very short notice period.
