About the Role:



As a Teacher of Business and Economics, you will play a key role in inspiring students to think critically, creatively, and commercially. You will teach across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering lessons that are engaging, relevant, and challenging, while ensuring that every student is supported to achieve their best. Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking department, you will help to develop innovative schemes of learning that bring business theory to life through real-world application. You will also contribute to the wider life of the school, promoting high standards, positive behaviour, and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.



This is a permanent role, with flexibility for part-time and full-time hours. There is a proposed January 2026 start date but an Easter or September 2026 start date could also be possible for the right candidate.

You are an energetic and committed teacher who can ignite curiosity and ambition in young people. With strong subject knowledge in Business and Economics, you approach teaching with creativity, rigour, and enthusiasm. You are well organised, reflective, and adaptable, with the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities. You value teamwork, communication, and continuous professional growth, and you take pride in creating a classroom culture where students feel confident to express ideas and take risks in their learning. A passion for helping students connect classroom learning with the wider world is essential.
