Teacher of Chemistry

Queen Anne's School is a vibrant, future-focused school that has been educating young women since 1894. The school is located in beautiful 35 acre grounds in Caversham with good transport links and within easy walking distance of Reading Station.

The Science department is based in the state-of-the-art Science Centre; there are seven laboratories, excellent technology provision, separate prep rooms, and full Technician support.

We are seeking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher to teach within this academically selective and dynamic school.

Teacher of Chemistry

The role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher and we offer support and mentoring via IStip, the Independent School's induction process, which is also recognised in the state sector.

The successful candidate will:

Be able to teach Chemistry to A-Level Develop excellence within their teaching and inspire students Be committed to promoting Chemistry as a subject across the whole school Have flair and vision to develop new initiatives within the school Be instrumental in maintaining a happy and safe environment whilst stretching students to their full potential Be committed to a boarding and day school ethos

Salary: A competitive salary will be offered in accordance with experience and qualifications. This salary will be reviewed annually.
