TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS

to join a strong department in a vibrant and supportive school. The provision of Maths is our school is excellent with teachers supported by shared Mastery Schemes of Learning. Maths is a very popular A Level choice with 3 or 4 groups in both Years 12 and 13, including Further Maths groups. At Key Stage 4 students have the opportunity to study Statistics and Further Maths as part of our enrichment programme.

Keeping Children Safe in Education



Gillingham school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
