We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and demonstrate an ability to engage students in learning. Duties
Deliver engaging mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 /4 & 5
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
Utilise behaviour management strategies to maintain a productive classroom environment.
Provide one-on-one tutoring and support to students who require additional assistance.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching methodologies and educational trends.
Engage in scientific research related to mathematics education, where applicable, to inform teaching practices.
Experience
A degree in Mathematics or a related field is essential
Proven experience in teaching mathematics at various levels
Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
Experience in mentoring students, particularly in academic settings, is highly desirable.
Proficiency in proofreading educational materials to ensure clarity and accuracy is beneficial. Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
DBS on update Service
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3/KS4/ KS5)
Excellent classroom management skills
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
