We are seeking an excellent candidate with a passion for education and the ability to motivate and enthuse students, deepening their knowledge and understanding. In addition to this, the successful candidate will manage behaviour effectively to create a safe, respectful and nurturing environment so that students can focus on learning.
Salary: M1 - UPS3 currently 32,916 - 51,048 FTE

Pyrland School (formerly The Taunton Academy) is a secondary school (11 - 16), located on the outskirts of Taunton with approximately 830 students on roll. We are rapidly growing in terms of pupil numbers and this is forecast to continue over the coming years until we reach capacity (1200). We are the first academy to have joined the Richard Huish Trust, with exceptionally close links to the Richard Huish College - an outstanding sixth form college at the heart of the Taunton community.
