We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to teach full-time as part of a strong and successful department. Examination results at all levels are outstanding; approximately half of the Sixth Form study the subject at A level. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across all ages. The ability to teach A level is essential and the ability to teach Further Maths A level is desirable.


The post would be equally suitable for someone seeking a first appointment or an experienced teacher. A willingness to contribute to the School's wide range of co-curricular activities is expected. Small teaching groups throughout the School are supported by the very latest technology and modern facilities including an extensive use of 1:1 digital learning.

King Edward VI School is a leading HMC Independent day school for children aged 11 - 18. King Edward's is a school with a long and distinguished history and it has been at the heart of Southampton for over 460 years. The School has occupied 4 different sites, relocating to the purpose built site on Hill Lane in 1938. It became fully independent in 1979 and co-educational in 1994.
