Job Description

Thank you for your interest in Taunton School and this role. Taunton School International (TSI) was set up by Taunton School in 1996 to provide a first step for international students wishing to complete their education in a British independent school. It is located on the school campus, is fully residential and has places for 83 boys and girls aged 14 to 18 years. It shares the wider school's facilities and is part of the whole school community. It operates a term-time one year GCSE course, an International Foundation Year and a Summer School.


We require a full time Mathematics teacher to join us in January 2026. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching IGCSE and either A Level or Foundation Year Level Mathematics. A Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, a standard entry-level TESOL qualification (e.g. a CELTA or equivalent). Experience of teaching international students is desirable but not essential, although a Maths related degree, a PGCE and a minimum of two years' teaching experience is required as a minimum for this post.
